Tommy Tofi enrolled at Oregon in January 2026 out of Archbishop Riordan in San Francisco, a consensus four-star and the No. 43 overall player and No. 3 offensive lineman in the 247Sports rankings. That head start through spring practice has shown up in September: he played 7 snaps at Oklahoma State, 31 in the 84-0 win over Portland State, and was on Oregon's official participation list at USC. The Early Enrollee Advantage

Tofi enrolled in January and spent spring practice going against Bear Alexander, A'Mauri Washington and the rest of Oregon's defensive front, then got his first Autzen reps in the April 25 spring game. The payoff is that he was on the field in a competitive road game in Week 2, at Oklahoma State, while summer arrival Immanuel Iheanacho did not appear in that game's published snap counts.

The Rebuild

Oregon's offensive line lost three starters to the NFL (Pregnon R3 to Jacksonville, Harkey R6 to the Chargers, World UDFA to the Chargers). Iapani Laloulu returned at center, and Ziyare Addison, Fox Crader and Dave Iuli have started at three more spots (Oregon's Oct 17 gameday availability report lists Iuli a game-time decision for Nebraska). Tofi, Iheanacho and the rest of the young linemen are the next wave. At USC the line allowed zero sacks.

Before Eugene

Tofi played both ways at Archbishop Riordan before moving mostly to offensive line as a senior. Riordan went 12-1 that year. He was invited to the Polynesian Bowl and was a finalist for Polynesian High School Player of the Year. ESPN rated him the No. 1 offensive lineman in California.
