Oregon trails historically 24-38-2, but the Chip Kelly era flipped the script. Oregon went 3-1 against USC from 2009-2012, outscoring the Trojans 196-124 in those 4 games. The 2009 Halloween game (47-20 over #3 USC) remains one of the most iconic wins in program history. Now a Big Ten rivalry renewed with both schools in the same conference again.

Oregon grew up in USC's shadow. For decades, the Trojans were the Pac-10/12 standard and Oregon was chasing. Chip Kelly flipped the script (47-20 on Halloween 2009). Now they are Big Ten rivals, and Oregon has the better program. That would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.

Oregon def. USC (Pac-12 Championship)

COVID-shortened season, conference-only schedule. Oregon beat USC in the Pac-12 Championship game to claim the conference title. Cristobal's second Pac-12 crown. The score mattered less than the trophy.

2012

Oregon 62, USC 51

113 combined points. The most Chip Kelly game ever played. Oregon averaged 49.6 PPG that season and this was the masterpiece. Matt Barkley threw 5 TDs for USC and still lost by 11. De'Anthony Thomas was untouchable.

2011

USC 38, Oregon 35

Heartbreaker at the Coliseum. Oregon's kicker missed a tying field goal with 5 seconds left. Oregon's only Pac-12 loss that season. One of the best college football games of the decade, and it happened to go against the Ducks. Oregon still won the conference and the Rose Bowl, but this one left a mark.

2009

Oregon 47, USC 20

Halloween night at Autzen. #3 USC walked in as 3.5-point favorites and walked out destroyed. Chip Kelly's arrival party. The 'I Love My Ducks' game. The night the rest of the country realized Oregon was for real. 47-20 is the score that launched a brand.

2007

Oregon 24, USC 17

Dennis Dixon and the Ducks knocked off USC during Oregon's magical 2007 run. Oregon was #2 in the country at this point, riding a wave that only ended when Dixon tore his ACL at Arizona weeks later.

2005

USC 45, Oregon 13

USC 45, Oregon 13. Not the upset. USC with Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart destroyed Oregon at Autzen. The Trojans were that dominant.
