Twenty-four commits and climbing, a top-three class nationally, and No. 1 in the Big Ten. That is where Oregon's 2027 class sits as of July 11, 2026. The July run did it: five-star WR Xavier Sabb, a coast-to-coast get out of New Jersey, plus cornerbacks Hayden Stepp and Tae Walden Jr. committing on the same afternoon, all stacked on top of WR Dakota Guerrant, who picked Oregon over Michigan and Ohio State back in June. Lanning is recruiting like Oregon belongs with anybody, because right now it does. The class won't sign until December 2026 and recruiting flips both ways, so treat this as a snapshot, not a trophy.

Coast to Coast: Where the Class Comes From
Oregon's 2027 recruiting class pulls 24 commits from 17 states, coast to coast. Oregon leads with 4, followed by California (3), Texas (2), and Michigan (2). The reach runs from Hawaii and the West Coast to New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the East Coast, a sign the program now recruits nationally against the blue bloods.

A five-star wide receiver from Glassboro, New Jersey, ranked the No. 5 WR nationally by ESPN (four-star on the 247Sports Composite). He committed to Oregon on July 3, 2026 after visits to Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, and UCLA, and is the brother of Alabama safety Keon Sabb. Landing him from the East Coast was the statement pickup of Oregon's 2027 class.
The one in-cycle loss from the committed class was 4-star CB Ai'King Hall, who decommitted and flipped to Miami (Mario Cristobal) on May 17, 2026. Earlier misses: 4-star OT Drew Fielder (flipped to USC in April), 4-star S Myles Baker (committed to Cal), 4-star CB Danny Lang (committed to USC), and 5-star S Honor Fa'alave-Johnson (committed to USC, March 14).
The early signing period for the 2027 class opens in December 2026. Expect movement through summer official visits, fall game-day visits, and the December signing window. Recruiting flips both directions, so this snapshot is a moving target.
