No Oregon Team Has Ever Started Here
The AP preseason Top 25 landed Aug 17 and the Ducks are No. 2, ahead of Georgia and Notre Dame and behind only Ohio State. Fourteen voters put Oregon first. The program had never opened above No. 3 before, and it has never opened a season at No. 1, so this is the highest starting point in Oregon history. The schedule does not care: Ohio State, USC, Michigan and Washington are all ranked too.
The Quack Report is an independent, fan-run reference for Oregon Ducks football: the 2026 roster and depth chart, the full schedule with kickoff times and TV, the injury report, recruiting, and every season since 1894. Every fact is sourced and dated.
The Offseason Has Been Anything But Boring
Dante Moore Heisman billboards in Tokyo. An inflatable Duck picking a fight with Godzilla. A mascot who does a push-up for every point until he passes out.
