The first Big Ten home game of the season, coming out of the bye. Oregon won 34-13 at UCLA in 2024. The Bruins fired DeShaun Foster three games into 2025, ending his tenure at 5-10 across two seasons, and hired Bob Chesney from James Madison, where he went 21-5 in two years and won the Sun Belt in 2025. Chesney brings energy and a fresh start, but UCLA is still rebuilding.

What to Watch

The first home Big Ten game, and there are three former Ducks on the other sideline: offensive lineman Jaylan Jeffers, cornerback Rodrick Pleasant and receiver Jalen Saint Paul all transferred to UCLA. Pleasant had 36 total tackles in his first Bruin season. Beyond the reunion, the question is whether Oregon's front seven can take away a running game that scored six rushing touchdowns in its opener, because UCLA has shown no interest in winning any other way so far.
