Quarterback, as of October 10, 2026: Oregon has not named its starting quarterback for Nebraska on Oct 17. Dylan Raiola started against UCLA on Oct 10 (Oregon's official box score) and went 6 of 19 for 43 yards with two interceptions; Brock Thomas replaced him on Oregon's first drive of the fourth quarter and went 11 of 15 for 156 yards and a touchdown in the 17-15 loss. After the game Dan Lanning said of Raiola: "He wasn't good enough today, I think he can acknowledge that. But we didn't prepare him to be good enough today. We didn't put him in positions to have success he needs to have." Dante Moore was OUT on all of Oregon's Big Ten availability reports for UCLA. Lanning said on Sept 27 that Moore sustained a concussion at USC on Sept 26, with clean MRI and CT scans; Oregon has not given a return date. Injury tracker · Depth chart
Against UCLA (Oct 10, 2026): Oregon was down 17-6 and had nothing going when Brock Thomas came in on its first drive of the fourth quarter. He went 11 of 15 for 156 yards, and with 2:16 left he hit Evan Stewart for a 44-yard touchdown that made it 17-15. He did everything he could. In one quarter he gave Oregon more than it had found in the first three, and he gave Autzen something to stand up for. The two-point try after the touchdown came up short, and that is on all of Oregon, not on the backup who got them there. He grew up in Eugene, played at Sheldon High, and his father Aaron played for the Ducks from 1985 to 1989; his grandfather Paul Bauge played at Oregon from 1959 to 1961 (GoDucks.com bio). At Sheldon he was the Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, led the Irish to the 6A state title game, and won a state 4x100 relay title. Air Force, Army, Portland State, Eastern Washington and Northern Arizona recruited him. He chose home.
A Eugene native and third-generation Duck, he replaced Dylan Raiola on Oregon's first drive of the fourth quarter against UCLA, down 17-6, and went 11 of 15 for 156 yards with a 44-yard touchdown to Evan Stewart.
