How to play (30 seconds)
- Every spot gets a football player and a Pokémon. Tap any spot on the field to see them.
- Swap either one. Tap a quick swap, or search all 1,025 Pokémon. Any player and any Pokémon can go anywhere.
- Good fits score more points. Fast Pokémon help receivers, big tough ones help linemen, and a player and a Pokémon that share a type get a bonus.
- Drag one player onto another to swap their spots.
- Hot or cold? A Duck who played great last game shows 🔥 and his Pokémon evolves. A bad game shows 🧊 and it de-evolves. Watch the last-game line on his card.
Every scoring rule
Real points from the official box score: 1 per 10 rushing or receiving yards, 1 per 25 passing yards, 6 per rushing or receiving TD, 4 per passing TD, 0.5 per catch, -2 per interception thrown, -2 per lost fumble, 1 per tackle, 1 per tackle for loss, 2 per sack, 4 per interception, 1 per pass breakup, 2 per fumble recovery, 6 per defensive TD, 0.5 per QB hurry, 3 per field goal, 1 per extra point, -1 per missed kick. The line scores as a unit: 2 points at 4.0 yards a carry, 1.5 more or less for every yard above or below. After the final, a quarter of your 2026 Ducks’ real points is your game bonus, and your captain’s real points count twice.
- Pick a captain © (any 2026 Duck): after the game, his real points count double, good game or bad. A three-pick day costs you twice. Tap any Duck on the field to hand him the armband. If he is not in the box score, the armband passes to your highest-rated other 2026 Duck who is.
- Don’t forget your kicker. He scores real points too: 3 a field goal, 1 an extra point.
- Lock in before kickoff (bottom bar). Built a better one before kickoff? Hit Update: your latest lock-in is the one that counts. After the game, your 2026 Ducks’ real stats add a game bonus.
- Beat our score, then dare a friend. Send your link. They build a team, hit Play, and the scoreboard decides.
What’s a good score? Anything above our call (the score to beat at the top) beats us.

How the leaderboard works
- Pick your team name below. It is how you show up all season.
- Lock in before kickoff (bottom bar). You land on this week’s board right away. At kickoff the board closes.
- Never miss a week. Add lock-in reminders to your calendar (the night before every game).
- Watch it fill up live. New teams appear the moment they lock in. Their lineups stay hidden until you lock in yours.
- Then the real game counts. After the final, each 2026 Duck in your lineup adds a quarter of his real points (yards, touchdowns, tackles, sacks, kicks, minus turnovers) to your score, and your captain counts twice, both ways. The top 10 earn 10 down to 1 championship point; everyone else who locked in gets 1.
Eight lineups we built by rule, seeded by score against this week’s opponent. Pick a winner in each matchup. Our call is on every game; your votes show once a matchup has 20 of them.

Our All-Time Legends lineup
The Quack Report's picks, spot by spot. The reasons are opinion. The Pokémon numbers come from PokeAPI.
| Spot | Duck | Pokémon | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| QB | Marcus Mariota | Golduck | Mariota needed a Duck, so he gets the Duck. A pure Water type with the mind to read the whole field: calm in the pocket, and 85 Speed when the pocket breaks. |
| RB | LaMichael James | Jolteon | The Blur offense in one Pokemon. LaMichael James ran Chip Kelly's tempo at full voltage; Jolteon brings 130 Speed and the spikes to match. |
| WR | Troy Franklin | Ninjask | Troy Franklin was the deep shot in the Bo Nix offense. Ninjask has 160 Speed, the fastest base stat on our field, and weighs next to nothing. |
| WR | Josh Huff | Arcanine | Josh Huff caught it short and turned it long. Arcanine pairs 95 Speed with 110 Attack, a receiver who runs through the first tackle. |
| WR | Tez Johnson | Pikachu | Tez Johnson was the smallest man on the field and the hardest to cover. Pikachu is 6 kg of yellow electricity. Nobody else made sense. |
| TE | Kenyon Sadiq | Salamence | Kenyon Sadiq ran and jumped like a receiver at the combine. Salamence is a Dragon that flies, with 135 Attack for the blocking half of the job. |
| LT | Penei Sewell | Metagross | Penei Sewell was a giant with an answer for every rush. Metagross is 550 kg of Steel with 130 Defense and a supercomputer for a brain. |
| LG | Kyle Long | Golem | Kyle Long played with an edge. Golem is a boulder with 130 Defense that rolls downhill and does not apologize. |
| C | Max Unger | Steelix | Max Unger started more games in a row than almost anyone in the country. Steelix is the Iron Snake Pokemon with 200 Defense. An iron man needs iron. |
| RG | Jackson Powers-Johnson | Rhyperior | Jackson Powers-Johnson won the Rimington as a mauler. Rhyperior brings 140 Attack and 282.8 kg into the A gap. |
| RT | Josh Conerly | Aggron | Josh Conerly was Lanning's first big recruiting win. Aggron is 180 Defense of Steel and Rock on the edge, the kind of wall you build a line around. |
| EDGE | Kayvon Thibodeaux | Garchomp | Kayvon Thibodeaux was the most disruptive edge rusher Oregon has produced. Garchomp has 102 Speed and 130 Attack. That is a sack. |
| DL | Haloti Ngata | Snorlax | Haloti Ngata blocked seven kicks and nothing got through the middle. Snorlax weighs 460 kg with 160 HP. Here the obvious pick is the right one. |
| DL | DeForest Buckner | Tyranitar | DeForest Buckner was all length and power. Tyranitar is 202 kg of Rock with 134 Attack, and it stands eye to eye with him. |
| EDGE | Dion Jordan | Gyarados | Dion Jordan could rush the passer or drop into coverage. Gyarados is Water and Flying with 125 Attack: big enough to rush, rangy enough to cover. |
| LB | Kiko Alonso | Lucario | Kiko Alonso read the play like he had the call sheet. Lucario reads aura, with 90 Speed to chase it sideline to sideline. |
| LB | Noah Sewell | Heracross | Noah Sewell ran downhill and arrived angry. Heracross has 125 Attack and a horn for meeting a pulling guard in the hole. |
| CB | Christian Gonzalez | Weavile | Christian Gonzalez needed one season to become a first-round corner. Weavile has 125 Speed and claws. Put it on an island and walk away. |
| CB | Ifo Ekpre-Olomu | Scizor | Ifo Ekpre-Olomu forced six fumbles in one season. Scizor has steel pincers and 130 Attack. It takes the ball. |
| NB | Patrick Chung | Scyther | Patrick Chung was a safety, a blitzer and a returner. Scyther covers the slot with 105 Speed and hits like a linebacker with 110 Attack. |
| S | Jairus Byrd | Staraptor | Jairus Byrd was a ball hawk named Byrd. Staraptor is a bird of prey with 100 Speed and 120 Attack. Some picks make themselves. |
| S | Jevon Holland | Dragonite | Jevon Holland played center field. Dragonite flies, covers the whole back end, and brings 91 HP and 134 Attack. |
| K | Aidan Schneider | Hitmonlee | The Kicking Pokemon, by its own Pokedex category. 120 Attack in a leg that stretches, and the calmest one on the field when the game is on the line. |
How we built this
Every number on a card comes from a source we can name, and we checked the sources ourselves instead of trusting a first pass. Here is what was checked, how, and when.
- Combine numbers. every 40-yard dash, bench press and weight for all 39 Legends was rechecked against Pro Football Reference. 38 of 38 recorded results match. One more is on file but left out on purpose: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu tore his ACL before the 2015 combine and only weighed in. Four Legends (Bo Nix, Dillon Gabriel, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Troy Dye) have no 40 or bench on record, so those ratings are marked as our call.
- Jersey numbers. each Legend wears the number from his last Oregon season, matched across GoDucks.com roster archives and Sports Reference. 39 of 39 agree.
- Signature traits. the lei, the cape, the cast, the trophies and the rest each have a source we read ourselves. Two ideas did not make it because we could not find the quote on the page.
- Stat lines. every season line on a Legend card was checked number by number against that player's Sports Reference page (read from the Internet Archive copy). Two tackles-for-loss numbers were wrong and are fixed.
- New Legends. Kenny Wheaton and Alex Molden wear no number on their cards because we could not confirm their Oregon jersey numbers from a source from their playing days.
- Height and weight. every 2026 Duck is listed as GoDucks.com lists him today.
- 2026 stats. added up from the ESPN box score of each game; cards re-rated after UCLA (Oct 10) include the UCLA box score in their fact line.
- Backups. every 2026 backup's height, weight and number come from the official roster, and every stat line from the ESPN box scores.
- Pokémon stats. All 1,025 species from PokeAPI, fetched 2026-10-10. The page reads every Pokémon number from that file; none is typed by hand.
How the ratings work
Each Duck has five ratings from 40 to 99. Speed and Power are calculated from his NFL Combine numbers when they exist: Speed from the 40-yard dash, Power from bench press reps and weight. A Duck with no recorded time or bench gets our call instead, and the card says so. The position skill, football IQ and clutch ratings are our opinion, shown next to a sourced fact. Every Combine number was checked against Pro Football Reference on Oct 10, 2026.
A Pokémon's fit at a spot comes from its real base stats: Speed and Special Attack for a quarterback, Defense, HP and weight for a lineman, Speed above all for a corner. Each spot scores 60 percent Duck and 40 percent Pokémon, then small bonuses add on for a type match, your coach, this week’s opponent and shiny stars, and hot or cold can evolve or de-evolve the Pokémon. The team overall is the average of every spot on the field (the kicker spot only counts when there is a kicker to pick).
Privacy: the game saves your lineups in your own browser. Posting to the leaderboard or a vote stores only an anonymous lineup code and a count. No names, no accounts. Matchups and season records are simulations for fun, not predictions of real games.
