The Story

Dan Lanning told recruits Oregon would be a program where five-stars chose to play, not a program that hoped five-stars would consider them. The 2026 class is the proof. Five five-star signees. The highest-rated offensive lineman in the country (Immanuel Iheanacho, #29 nationally). The nation's top safety (Jett Washington, #23 nationally). An edge rusher who could play on Sundays right now (Anthony Jones Jr., #22 nationally). A tight end at 6-7 who changes how you design a passing game (Kendre Harrison). And a receiver from Texas who waited for the right moment (Jalen Lott). Sixteen of the 24 signees enrolled early and are already on the spring roster. They are not waiting. They are competing. That is how Lanning builds.

What This Class Addresses

This class was designed to answer the three biggest questions from the Peach Bowl loss. First, the offensive line: three starters left for the NFL (Pregnon, Harkey, World). Iheanacho and Tommy Tofi are five-star OL who arrive this summer to compete for starting jobs immediately. Second, the secondary: Jabbar Muhammad and Nikko Reed departed. Jett Washington, Devin Jackson, Davon Benjamin, and Xavier Lherisse give Chris Hampton four new bodies in the secondary, all of them early enrollees. Third, edge depth: Anthony Jones Jr. steps into the rotation behind Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti. If Oregon's defensive line was the best in the country in 2025, the 2026 class ensures it stays there.

The class targeted three needs: offensive line (lost three NFL-bound starters), secondary (six DBs signed including the nation's top safety), and edge rush depth (five-star Anthony Jones Jr.). See the full 2026 roster for how each signee fits.
