Oregon 45, Wisconsin 38 (January 2, 2012). De'Anthony Thomas, 91-yard TD. First carry. The drought that started in 1917 was finally over.

First CFP Appearance and Only Heisman Trophy
Marcus Mariota. 90.92% of the vote. 53 total TDs. 2 INTs. The standard by which every Oregon QB is measured.

First Big Ten Championship
Year one in the conference. 13-1. Dillon Gabriel beat Penn State 45-37 in Indianapolis. Oregon owned the Big Ten from day one.

First Expanded CFP (12-team format)
Beat Ohio State 32-31 at Autzen. 60,129 fans. Won the Big Ten in year one. The first Oregon team in the expanded 12-team CFP.
