Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Oregon scored 45 in their first-ever Big Ten title game, outgunning Penn State in a shootout. The win sent Oregon to the Rose Bowl and the CFP. First Big Ten title in year one of membership.

Penn State 38, Oregon 20
Rose Bowl. Rich Brooks' final game as Oregon's head coach. Penn State was too much, winning 38-20, but nobody in Eugene cared about the final score. Oregon had made the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1957. The Pick against Washington got them there. Brooks left for the NFL. The field at Autzen is named after him.
